International Shooting Sport Federation
All International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Pistol Matches:
These are generally the matches shot in the Olympic and Commonwealth Games. These events offer Members a pathway for selection in Victorian Teams to compete at PA National Championships and Australian Teams to the Commonwealth Games or Olympic Games.
Pistol Australia
Pistol Australia (PA) Service Pistol Matches: These are modified versions of the NRA Combat Matches and include shooting from 50 Yards to 7 Yards. The matches include shooting from prone and sitting positions, shooting from behind barricades and shooting from a holster. These events also offer Members a pathway for selection in Victorian Teams to compete at PA National Championships.
World Association 1500
World Association 1500 Matches:
These matches have been adopted from the NRA PPC matches. There are a number of matches included, with shooting distances from 50 Yards to 3 Yards. All matches are shot from the holster, and like the Service Pistol Matches, include shooting from various positions. These events also offer Members a pathway for selection in Victorian Teams to compete at PA National Championships and Australian Teams to compete at International events, including the WA1500 World Championships held Bi Annually.
International Practical Shooting Confederation
International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) shooting is an International competition that is shot on all continents, with local, state, national, regional and international championships happening on a regular basis.
It is controlled on an International basis by IPSC, with national and regional committees organising membership and competitions. In IPSC competition, a variety of target types are used (both paper and steel, stationary and moving, scoring targets and penalty targets).
Victorian Amateur Pistol Association
Victorian Amateur Pistol Association (VAPA) Classic Match.
This is a match designed for military issued handguns designed prior to 1955.
OUR FACILITIES
Club Opening Hours:
The club is fully operational on Saturday and Sundays between the hours of 10.00am and 4.00pm
Once you have spoken with the Club’s Secretary and confirmed your interest you may visit the range on Saturdays between 11.00am and 12.00pm for a tour of the club and facilities.
There are organised competitions as per the Club Calendar; drinks are available in the clubhouse.
